For Exemplary Coverage

True Story

The vast majority of people who enter the news profession make an honest attempt to be accurate and fair. Being human, they sometimes fail those standards. And being human, they sometimes excel at them.

The story of modern journalism isn't a one-sided tale of a vocation succumbing to economic pressure, changing technology, media consolidation or waning integrity. There are everyday heroes among our press corps, too.

As SCAAMD.org grows, the Kudos section will honor coverage that gets the facts right, puts them in context and explains them without bias—especially when other media is getting the story wrong. Readers are encouraged to submit links to such examples by email through our Contact Us page.
